Race Finish Time Calculator
Estimate 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon or custom-distance finish time from a target pace or an in-race checkpoint.
This is a linear projection: the calculator applies the target or current average pace to the full distance. It does not account for fatigue, terrain, weather, fueling or stops. Finish time is elapsed race time; clock checkpoints use the start time above.
| Distance | Elapsed time | Clock |
|---|---|---|
| 1 km | 5:30 | 09:05 |
| 2 km | 11:00 | 09:11 |
| 3 km | 16:30 | 09:16 |
| 4 km | 22:00 | 09:22 |
| 5 km | 27:30 | 09:27 |
| 6 km | 33:00 | 09:33 |
| 7 km | 38:30 | 09:38 |
| 8 km | 44:00 | 09:44 |
| 9 km | 49:30 | 09:49 |
| 10 km | 55:00 | 09:55 |
Estimate finish time from pace or progress
This page matches finish-time intent rather than full race prediction intent. It projects a finish from the pace you choose or from the average pace already recorded at a checkpoint.
Tfinish - projected finish time, Drace - race distance, Pavg - average pace.
Checkpoint assumptions
- The projection is linear and assumes the same average pace through the finish.
- Checkpoint mode is useful during a race but does not model late-race fatigue.
- Clock checkpoints are based on the start time you enter.
