How percent works
The percent key follows common calculator behavior. Without a pending operation, a percent becomes a decimal. With a previous number and operation, the percent is applied to that previous number.
p is the percent value. The calculator converts it to a decimal when no operation is active.
a is the starting amount and p is the markup percentage.
